The purpose of this thread is two fold. I am trying to create BlueClickythings, and in doing so thought that I would create a link to one of my favourite Toronto Performers, Carlos Del Junco, two time Hohner World champion in both Blues and Jazz categories. Check him out if the link works.

I was trying to create a Blueclickything for this site

Mine did not work either!! I think you forgot to put a text item to click Steve after the ">" and then you have to close the link with "/a" in angle brackets. Mudguard explained my html mess the other day may be able to explain this better than me.

Carlos

Roger,

Thanks, finally it worked like a charm. Did you check out the site. There are some sound clips there worth hearing.

So I've given up on Blueclickythings. I can barely log into my computer, let alone expect to create html stuff.

So open the page you want to link to in a new browser window, that way you know the address will be correct. For your link type an opening angle bracket character followed by A HREF=
..then click on the address you want to link to (in the other window) and copy/paste that address after the =
..then type a closing angle bracket and some text that will show up as the blue link
..then finish with /a enclosed in angle brackets

roger - not good at explanations

Don't give up they aren't hard - they just look hard!!!
Next time try one of the HTML practice threads to play on, that way a helpful Mudcat sprite will be there to help - if you look at the "HTML practice idiot at work" thread you will see the mess I created the other day....
Off to look at the Harmonica site
