Had a great night in the Black Dog last night. Gave the landlord and landlady (Gary and Tracy) a small taste of what they could expect only we warned them there would be a lot more of us and we would be invading every part of the premises!!!
Various queries were answered regarding facilities too
1. Drainage is superb so no worries about waterlogging at all
2. There is a disposal point for chemical toilets which also has a very basic outside toilet (no roof so we will bring golfing umbrella and promise no dinosaurs!!)
3. It is a Tetleys pub so one pump has to have that the other three plus two mobiles can have what we like from guest list so Geoff and I will discuss that with them in good time for the weekend (Abbotts and IPA on last night)Cider is Strongbow (no scrumpy)
4. Good chance that Tracy will serve cooked breakfasts if people are interested - haven't fixed any prices yet but will sort nearer the time and get a rough idea of numbers wanting it.
5. Unlike last two years there will not be a meal organised for the Saturday evening but the pub does great food at reasonable prices so don't envisage a problem.
12 weeks to go.

Of course if you can't wait that long to see everyone you could come to the Wheel in Golcar on Saturday 15th March for a day of song. two sessions from 1.30 till 5ish and from 7 till late ish. Similar in format to the front room of the Plough/Tap & Spile during Whitby Folk Week. With a raffle or two thrown in to raise money for the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat. Phone 01484 460 844 for more details !!!!!
Sorry Mrs Duck for "borrowing" your thread, slapped legs to follow !!!

I'm only a possible - and probably only for a day. By that point I will be 6 months pregnant, and the prospect of sleeping in a tent and spending a whole weekend in a smoky pub might not be the best idea.

BTW that was an announcement.

As I am away for the weekend with the Shellbacks, here is an update on the numbers logging an interest. This time I have been a little more pessimistic about who said what, many having qualified their intentions at this stage. Anyway the total number is now up to 40 expressing an interest, of which 17 are definites. Looks like it will be a great weekend!
(I couldn't seem to be able to get the tick signs to come through from the Word document from which I copied it, so that's what the Ys mean!)
Who has expressed an interest?
8 Pints Y & Sue vG Y
Abuwood ? & Steve ?
Alanww ?
Bagpuss ?
Banjo-Flower ?
BanjoRay ?
Bill\sables Y - "probably evenings only"
Bradfordian Y
CatsPHiddle ? & Micca ?
Col K Y
Dave the Gnome ?
Eric the Viking Y
frank-t Y
Geoff the Duck Y & Mrs Duck Y
JeZeBeL Y
John from Hull ?
Karen Y & Colin Y
Les from Hull Y & Maggie Y
Liz the Squeak ? & Manitas ?
mooman ?
Mouldy Y - "at some point"
Mrs Cobble ?
Noreen Y
Nutty Y
Pied Piper ? - "do best to be there"
Raggytash ? & Wombat ? - "at some point"
Rock Chick ?
Rhiannon ? & Mick ?
Smallpiper ?
Spot the Dog ?
Susanne (skw) ? - from Saturday evening

Anyone else and anyone got any corrections?
