Hi, I heard this song in a session once, and can's remember the full lyrics. I was told by this man that it was an Irish parody song on the story of Robin Hood (and can't find the Lyrics anywhere). I hope someone can fix the for me or write them down and mail them to me ([e-mail]).

Can you remember anything at all about it? A phrase or two? A little bit of the story? There are hundreds of modern Robin Hood parodies. Many have been posted here already, and it would be a waste of space, time and effort if people were to post them all again just in case one might be what you are looking for.

Help us to help you, by telling us what you already know. Don't make us guess in the dark.

Don't know if this is the one but I can't remember a lot of it.

Many long years ago,
Twas a fella named Robin Hood,
He use to rob the rich,
Most every chance he could.

(A FEW VERSES I CAN'T REMEMBER)

the refrain;

Except some little chick whose name was Maryanne.

( and a last verse I cannot recall either.)
