(On the other hand, anybody with a bit of cash to spare would be well advised to invest in coal shares). However, no final decision will be made until MeganL has been given a fair chance to defend herself against the allegations made by One Who Knows. What was told me in the strictest confidence does ease my mind quite significantly with respect to the upcoming McMudgather. I was worried about letting a girl of tender disposition loose amongst the likes of Secsy Liz and MacKenzie, but, by the sound of it, there's absolutely no need to fret on that account. If my informant has it right, Ms MeganL should be well and truly capable of looking after herself and maybe the worry should instead be directed towards anybody who is going to associate with her over the upcoming weekend (she did state a certain desire to 'skelp' MacKenzie, maybe someone should issue him with a hard hat for the weekend? Livin' on a ship, we gets used to them ratties and are right glad when they warn of leaks an imminent sinkings. We tries to bring along rat chow for 'em too (them block type things) so dem ratties'll not be tempted to eat our hardtack & jerky. I find they much prefer fresh fruit and some curds without whey. Healthy buggers, them ratties and much cleaner than sailors or parrots. Pirates only 'ave parrots in da moving pictures. No self-respectin' pirates stand for parrot poops all over the poop-deck..Arrrrh harr harr. An them empty seed hulls are nasty too. Rats is better. I gots a rat ye know. He sits on my shoulder an wraps his long scaly tail round my neck . Hims is called Tuco. He gots brothers named Blondie an' Angel Eyes but they sails on t'other ship with One-Eye Wongo. Tuco is a right fat little ratter but I luvs him. Sings in my ear when happy, he does! So is ratties yer totem animal then? Does figures of 'em bring ye luck? Tea is good, I have several bins full of boxes and tins of it. I've been hankering for a tin of the Chinese Yunan loose tea (I can't get it here, I have to go or mail order to New York City or Seattle to get it!) Household color schemes? Dust and cat hair probably don't count as real colors . . . I have tons of kitchen gadgets, inherited a number of years ago, but I love to cook and would be interested in local spices or ingredients from your region. I have tons of books, I have a library card, and I work in a library. I believe in redundancy, but probably best to skip this category (unless you've written a book?) I could use a wall calendar with nice photos and enough space to write a little something about a guitar lesson or a trip to the vet on each date. Maybe a calendar from your locality? Does this help? Is it safe to mail chocolate south of the equator or will our packages melt this time of year? (I never try to mail it during the summer in Texas.) Also consider sending something chocolate flavored but not meltable. I for one cannot be without this drink mix: Mocafe Azteca D'oro Mexican Spiced Hot Cocoa it is so heavenly on a chilly morning when whipped into hot milk. It also makes a nice ice-blended mocha latte |
