Got here by looking for lyrics to "A Stór Mo Chroí". I'm also trying to track down lyrics for "Jimmy Mó Mhíle Stór" and "Siúil A Rún" from this great album. Can anyone help me out?

You can find both of these songs by doing a forum search at this site, but the lyrics won't be exactly as the Chieftains sing them. There are versions of "Siúil A Rúin" in English in the database, but you'll probably have to look under different titles such as Buttermilk Hill and the transliterated "Shule Aroon". Remember for database searches (that box in your upper right-hand corner) you can also type in a phrase in brackets, i.e. [sell my spinning wheel]. It only works if you and the database use the same combination of words and spelling.(or use wildcard *) You can also search by categories, i.e. @war . A long list of categories and an alphabetical list of song titles is available on the main page www.mudcat.org/
Finding archived threads by forum search is more problematic given the great variety of thread titles and spellings. Threads you for you to look at are: Jimmy mo mhíle stór
siúl a rúin
Johnny has gone for a soldier
shool la rue
