Palin has pretty much announced her 2012 candidacy.

The USA has had two, and if she is elected will have had three, presidents who apparently knowingly eschew intelligence knowledge and reason.

Doe any other country prefer to be ruled by the stupid? In comparison to her Charles (Big-Ears) Windsor is a polymath, a philosopher, a philanthropist, a deep thinking renaissance man.

I still tend to think that the US, as a whole, would not ever elect someone of her qualifications. Then I think of Alaska and despair. Alaska has elected some really strange characters- and mostly seems self-satisfied about it.

Right or wrong he is in charge and this last election showed a lot of upset people. If they run Palin I think Obama will win absolutely (my humble take anyway as an independent). However if the republican's can sell another candidate as intelligent and middle grounded, then the race will be on ... I don't think Palin is the answer for them at all. She will not pick up the independent vote and that is the deal maker right there

And someone needs to tell Obama to lead .. that is the one disappointment I have with him. In the interview with John Stewart he said "the American people know know some of the positive things we have done on their behalf"   Well fella, it is time to tell everyone. I was not really a Reagan fan. But the guy could sell dirt to a farmer. He would say, when he raised taxes, I sure hate to say this be we have to (yada yada) and could sell it. Right now Obama is letting the other side go off without response and that is dangerous if you want to win. You gotta lead guy, step up say why you are doing what your are doing and "sell it". Because the decisions he made are just for most of the cases ... he just drops the ball at the tell us and lead us part. That is a weakness the other side will exploit.

Given the information void that the average Joe suffers from, anything is possible and Sarah Plain, while she may not know much else, knows that... And so do her handlers... That circle is made up of corporatists so if she were to get elected I doubt if she would be any worse than Bush...

I mean, the world wouldn't come to an end... I think she'll cite family reasons and remain a public speaker. But I fully expect Newt Gingrinch to run - and he'll be someone to contend with as I see it.

As for dressing a moose...that's not easy! Trust me. They much prefer to go naked. I know a man who tried to dress one. Within fifteen minutes he had attracted a healthy and sexually mature moose. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a male moose! When he tried to put the bikini, stockings, and garters on the naked bull moose so that he could have kinky sex with it, all hell broke loose. The moose nearly killed him. It isn't easy with female moose either. I only know of one case in the last 50 years where anyone succeeded in dressing a female moose, and that was Lonesome Eddie, the Mad Trapper, and he only succeeded because he had spiked the moose's favorite water hole with 150 gallons of Canadian whiskey and the moose got stinking drunk! They ended up living together for the rest of the winter, but by spring Lonesome Eddie had run out of whiskey, and the moose became sober one day, realized with horror what she had done, trampled Lonesome Eddie into something resembling a huge meat patty and left him lying outside the door of his cabin as a dire warning to all others who would dare attempt to dress moose.

I do not believe that Sarah Palin has ever dressed a moose or even attempted to. She's not that stupid.

Alaska is an anomoly. No other state gives its citizens a socialist subsidy, a slice of the pie, by the wealthiest corporation on Earth. BUt that is the price that big oil decided it had to pay to have its way with the last expanse of wilderness in the USA.
People in Alsaka get a bit of oil money one way or another by just living there. But if you want to call it a microcosm you can always make that fit one way or another.

WHile Alaskans are a bit better off than the rest of the country they do have a harder time leaving the State compared to, lets say, leaving Bayonne NJ.


Sarah Plain Palin will run in 2012 dpending upon who will want to be her LOYAL running mate. While she will stand for the religious base and gunmen of America she will need a person who will attract independents. There are lots of people she can't get and there are many she can get but wont help.

She will look first to other FOX news people who have their own show and stand a chance of ruinning, I mean running a good campaign.
She will ask Huckabee, she won;t ask Beck but she can count on him to swift boat and torpedo opponents. She doesn;t stand a chance with Romney. FInding someone who will forgo their own PResidential bid and risk it all on her is a tough head hunt. She may have to consider a celebrity over a politician. O'Reilly? Lou Dobbs? Those guys would say yes.

At my age I have been wrong a great many times. I have also fairly often been correct. My bet would/will be that Palin will NOT make a run for the presidency- or if she does, she will quit it halfway. I do believe she craves the attention and the money; I don't believe that she wants to work hard to get it.

Maybe if her running mate or cabal promised her they will do all the work? That she could concentrate on meeting and greeting world leaders? I think she has a highly inflated opinion of her charm, or at least of its long term effectiveness, and I can imagine her wanting to be let loose on some of these leaders.

I sometimes wonder how she feels about most of Alaska's opinion of her. As I implied, I think she wants to be liked, uncritically.

I think that America might be a little gun-shy about trying to make an under-qualified candidate, into a 'celebrity-candidate', like they did in '08. He is with the APP. That's the American Primate Party. Their platform bears very little resemblance to the Republican Party platform, and they are feared and despised by both the Republicans and the Democrats, because they take votes away from the big 2. Chongo's policies are definitely antiwar, pro-environment, anti-corporate, and for the little guy. Chongo would withdraw from both Iraq and Afghanistan and would dismantle all USA military bases in foreign lands. He would bring the troops home. He would shut down the Federal Reserve (a private corporation) and put money creation back in the hands of the government itself, rather than the major banks. He would de-criminalize all drugs, but not allow them to be marketed by commercial enterprises of any sort, and would provide clinical aid to drug addicts. He would discontinue the death penalty. He would probably disband the CIA or at least greatly reduce their powers. He would start up projects to restore REAL jobs to American workers by stimulating local industry instead of flooding the nation with cheap goods from China. He would discontinue the huge subsidies provided to products like corn, and encourage a return to small scale traditional agriculture by busting up the big food conglomerates. He would also encourage responsible gun ownership, because he's definitely pro-gun, but he'd require people to take gun handling courses at approved facilities before allowing them to own guns, and they would have to be free of any past criminal record of violent crime to be allowed to own guns. He would apply different (more stringent) gun laws in metropolitan areas than in rural areas, recognizing that rural people have a great many more practical reason for owning and using long guns. Mountain people, for example, who live in the Ozarks or the other remote mountain areas...them he would basically leave alone, because they're still living in the old style, hunting, and they need their guns. He would resume a peaceful space program with the objective of landing men on Mars by 2020, and would open up further investigation into the UFO controversy. He would take the USA out of NATO and recommend that NATO be disbanded. He would balance the budget by slashing military spending. He would provide affordable health care to all citizens through public health insurance. He would prosecute the bankers who create money bubbles through irresponsible speculation. He would slash credit card interest charges in half. He would make Woody Allen apologize for all that damn whining he's done over the years, and tell Glenn Beck to shut his damn piehole!

Now...does that sound like either a Democrat or a Republican to you? It doesn't to me. Chongo is on an independent path. ;-D
