Fascinating stuff - I'd never realised he'd originally had "This Land is Your Land" with the chorus line "God Blessed America for Me". Definitelty this is a site worth digging around in.

Thanks Mike for leading us to this. I look forward to the new WG biography as I always felt the Joe Kline one - good as it was - left many a gap and questions unanswered. I don't know what other Catters think but I do feel that Billy Bragg was a most innapropriate person to record those WG titles. Dr John
