Subject: Ted Nugent's drummer
From: GUEST,Paul Crawte
Date: 12 Mar 01 - 04:18 PM

My recently departed father used to play in bands with a guy called Cliff Davies, who later went on to become a drummer for the gonzoid rocker Ted Nugent. My family think that Dad would want Cliff to know of his parting. However, we can't find him for love or money.

Anyone know a contact, a web site, what ever that might allow us to tyrack this man down? He is still, we think, involved in the music industry in the United States. Any help greatfull received.

paul.

Paul, did a little research on CD NOW and found Cliff Davies was working as a producer and drummer as recently as '97. He worked on a compilation soundtrack (I think!) for Warner Bros. You might try e-mailing their publicity dept. or same for record companies he's worked for.

not much help, good luck.

cheers

bill

Paul, try this page:

http://www.atlantavintagedrums.com/vd3.html

It mentions his teaching in the Atlanta GA area, and offers to forward correspondence. You never know....

Good luck.

Dani

Thanks for the help with this. I've sent a message through the Atlanta drums page, so i guess I'll just wait for a bit.

Cheers

Paul
