Here's something interesting I found out recently, though... a male friend was telling me that men experience a special sort of suspense watching female accordionists. Apparently having something to do with watching the bellows action and waiting for something painful to happen.

It's ok, dave. Being massively behind the learning curve isn't something to be ashamed of (well, it is, really, but we won't hold it against you).

It's just that, well, you know, we've all seen that one. Hundreds and hundreds of times over the last couple of decades and all.

Maybe you just need a little extra time to catch up. It's ok. We're patient.

But of course... Those of us who play the box know that it is not the squeezers who are uncool, but all the poor folks who have yet to discover and succumb to it's many wonders.

...but give them time. Most people can't remain profoundly uncool forever. And if they do, who cares?

The beautiful Lucy Liu plays the squeezebox.

A fearless athlete, and die hard adventurer; she practices rock climbing, skiing and horseback riding, and at the opposite end of the spectrum, like her TV character she likes to deliver the unexpected, she is an accomplished musician.
On what instrument you ask, well naturally she plays the accordion, and ironically has been taught by the same teacher as another accordion playing cast member on Ally, Greg Germann, who plays Richard Fish on the show.
They now drag their accordions to work and jam between sets.
