I just tried out my first set of Thomastek Infeld strings, and I am delighted -- excellent clarity, strong bass, sweet overtones and good sustain.

Got 'em from JustStrings.com. Ordered on line, timely delivery and excellent service.

Some days ya get lucky I guess. Thanks for the tips TGG~!! :>)

These guys are garnering a rep as the best acoustic string maker in town, although in this case the town is Austria somewhere.

Anyone else had experience with them?

I haven't tried the Thomastek but I do use Thomastik strings. <VBG>

I haven't tried them on my D-41 but I do currently have their JS113 medium Flat Wound strings on my electric and like them very much. Both fiddles have been strung with Thomastik strings virtually forever. I once tried SuperSensitive fiddle strings on the advice of Tracy Schwarz and have used Thomastiks ever since.
