Try contacting Theo Gibb. He is based in Gateshead and repairs free reed instruments. He is a folky himself and plays melodeon. His wife plays piano accordion, so he will know what you want.

Where are you based? I know an EXCELLENT tuner but he is in Chalfont St Giles/Peter in Bucks.

Does anyone know who might offer specialist advice on accordion tuning? I have spoken to one or two accordionists who have had their boxes retuned to a dryer sound for Irish or Scottish playing and read all the usual web ifo but need some exact specifications for my local repairer who is not a folky and not familiar with these tunings. Thanks
