See, that's the problem around here. We got terrific tacticians and no strategists. I think relocating to Florida was a strategy!!!

Anyway, we'll fall back on the use of Bunker Buster Chick Tunes and chocolate-melting serenades and hope that keeps the sunshine turned on while we are together. Because, ya know, the thing about Jeri, and Jacqui, and Mary and others of the Invert Persuasion, is that they are just so melt-down IRRESISTIBLY fine when that sunshine is shining out, and they smile and look with their big eyes...ya just get all discombobulated and the world seems the better for it. Undeniably persuasive and irresistibly boooootiful.

So let's aim for that.

Sorcha, I hate to talk about actual Getaway stuff in the midst of all this jollity and friendly, sophisticated repartee, but ... we'll have registration forms before too long, and the folks arranging this shindig will truly appreciate any responsible people who get their registration in well before September.

Sometime in September there is a drop-dead date where we have to tell the camp how much food to provide.   That's the final absolute (almost) deadline for registering, but you can register as soon as we put up the forms, which will be after we find an FSGW volunteer to handle this year's registrations.

By mid August we'd like to have lots of registrations already in hand and have some idea how likely others are to register.

Now back to the party....

We are far more subtle than that. And far more dangerous. We prefer to leave our victims severely mangled but alive. Being in ladylike mode for the duration of the Getaway, I will not participate in the sacrificial sections of the proceedings. But I will help plan them.

And ten bottles of champagne is nowhere near enough. I plan to bring some of my own favorite - Mumm's Cordon Rouge. Unless of course there is a half price sale on something vintage from the Rothchilds at Hannaford's. Stranger things have been known to happen.
