No just thinking this will past by before I know it
the October will stand by my eyes.
Life In Iceland is so fast that one week goes by on one day
It´s nearly christmastime soon ?????
No i am on a alchol or something like that , but
ever since I came from N-Ireland I just long for an peace and
quiet the people there are so easy and slow and the time is
on normal scan.
I liked it alot I felt like home , I will go there again
to The Mountains of Morne and stay there under the trees
like I did last time.

Wow! Is this a record? 355 posting in only 42 days! And the event is still 7+ months away!
I would love to make it this year (since I had such a great time in 2003), particularly as several Mudcatter friends are going over from the UK. But two trips to China in July & September mean that its just not possible. But my eyes are set on 2006!
Have a great time ... Micca, CatsPHiddle, Leadfingers, SussexCarole, Crane Driver, Giok, Skipjack, BillSables, El Greko & Vanessa etc - and, of course, everyone else!

John & Skarpi, the best thing to do from there is to have some FSGW person pick you up at the airport, take you home, feed you, spend half the night chatting, provide a place to sleep for the night and drive you to the Getaway on Friday.

This will happen, if you wish it. It may be too early to set up the details, (or maybe not). Later I think we should have a thread on Getaway Travel Logistics so's we can keep track of who-needs-what. There may be non-Mudcat folks who'd love to help out, too.

That's what we did when 24 members of the Shellback Chorus arrived here needing sleeping gear & transportation for the Getaway.

If for some reason you don't want to do that we'll help you figure out what you need but ... the FSGW is, always has been, extremely hospitable to visiting musicians.

I am hoping to get over for a couple of weeks either side of the Getaway to meet East Coast Catters and , if possible , do a few gigs as well . Is my best bet starting a thread looking for places I can crash , or what ?? . I am still looking for a cheap flight deal so do not as yet have ANY fixed plans . Also , how do I go about offering my services for a whistle workshop , assuming I am allowed to do that !
