Subject: Woody Guthrie on film? From: FolkGiant Date: 01 Mar 10 - 05:07 PM Has Woody ever been on film? I have seen a few short snippets here and there, but never a full performance or anything. Can anyone point me to anything, new or out-of-print? Also, who would anyone suggest to play Woody in a film if it were made today? How about the other major characters in a story like his? Who would play Pete? Leadbelly? Cisco Houston? Fire away... have fun! FG |
