Today I passed you on the street
And my heart fell at your feet
I can't help it if I'm still in Love with you
Some body else stood by your side
And she looked so satisfied
I Can't help it if I'm still in love with you

A picture from the past came slowly stealin'
As I brushed your arm and walked so close to you
Then suddenly I got that old time feelin'
I can't help it if I'm still in love with you.

(instrumental break as 1st verse)

It hard to know another lips will kiss you
And hold you just the way I use to do
And heaven only knows how much I miss you
And I can't help it if I'm still in love with you

Yeah, probably, Sorcha. Sometimes I can type it faster though. (even with the typos)

Interesting though. I don't know why, but I always thought Don Gibson wrote this one...

It was Hank Williams Sr., Johnny.

I knew he recorded it of course. That's where I learned long long ago. But I guess I was confusing it a bit with "I Can't Stop Loving You".

Brain fart, I guess.

best to be specific with your thread titles
as there is a heading to identify what type of
request is in your thread, and if the subject
can alert folks to what you are actually seeking
it will be more likely to be answered correctly.
9 out of ten times you will get an answer within
a few hours!!

Thanks for the advice Open Mike. I did do it correctly for "Nobody wants you when you're down and out" but obviously had a "Senior moment" this time
Cheers

I agree with the theory, Open Mike, but you notice it only took 7 minutes anyway!
