The format for the evening of June the 4th is as follows

8:00 open

8:15 to 9:00 Lucy Wright (Vocals and Fiddle) and Paul Young (Guitar)
When these two have completed their degrees in 3 years time, they will be the hottest young folk duo on the market. They wiil be 19 years old by June 4th. Pure quality and not to be missed.

9:00 to 9:45 Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher.
Well known throughout their native county Lincolnshire, both for their club work as a duo and as members of the Higgledy Piggledy Band, Bill and Dave present a fine blend of voices mellowed by the 20 years of singing together. Their slection of songs encompasses both ancient and modern accompanied in traditional style on English and Duet Concertina, Harmonium and melodeon, with enough choruses to satisfy any audience.
They have taken their music further a field in clubs from Kent to Lancashire and festivals including Saltburn, Holmfirth and Four Fools, Chorley.
They have recently been involved with Martyn Wyndham Read's 'Songlinks', appearing on the CD launch at Sidmouth Festival and the CD launch concert at Cecil Sharp House. Their third album 'Less Sprightly' has just been released.

10:00 to 10:45 CARA. They are a very talented band. Within a relatively short period of time the band have recorded 2 albums in Ireland and performed extensively in the Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire areas. The band consists of David Oakley (Violin Mandolin) John Rawlings (Guitar Cittern) and last but not least Mike Ryan (Vocals Uilleann pipes Whistles Mandolin Guitar.
