Don't get me started on Steve Earle...oh, you have already.

He played the UK in November and I saw his Leeds gig. He was great and as I was about 4 feet from him for the whole gig I had a great view.

He played all of his new album plus about another 15 songs and was supported by the excellent Allison Moorer.

You'll have a ball!

TBOF, Allison Moorer will be coming to Halifax with him too. I haven't heard of her. What kind of stuff does she do?

Allison does intelligent country, in a style more akin to Sheryl Crow than Gillian Welch. She plays acoustically with Steve Earle (and duets with him during his set) but her latest CD 'The Duel' is with a band. It's worth hearing.

ooh Den.......you do lead a young man on something shocking, and then you let him down and all his expectations are made to go floppy! tain't right, that it ain't!

Halifax, Nova Scotia indeed!

WLD, sorry about that. I didn't mean to lead you on. I promise I will never do that again. Floppy expectations can be troubling and can keep a man up at night or not as the case may be.
