L: 1/8

so two crotchets on middle C would be
C2 C2

A dotted crotchet followed by a quaver would be
C3 C

....but what is the notation for a double-dotted crotchet followed by a semiquaver?

Easy if you know how, I'm sure ! Thanks.

*grin* sorry I didn't get it right - but glad that it helped.

Considering that written music is about as intelligible to me as Minoan Script....

If you set L:1/4 it might be easier. Than you could have, respectively:

CC
C>C
C>>C
