Hi folks- just to say thanks for the opportunity of playing- it was Na Buachaillí Báire's first official gig and we enjoyed the night very much. Les' pronunciation was faultless and all the music was great..thanks again!
Dáithí

Just come round. Thanks for the nice comments. Again I felt it was a very good evening and it was so nice to see the artists remaining to the end and enjoying the evening.
Very good turnout as well.
I particularly enjoyed the mix and variety from the artists (a cracking team event) It was good to see new blood arriving at the club and a nice age mix from the artists starting from 22 to ?????? :-)
Really pleased me to see Fence bringing his children along - hope they enjoyed it.
And thanks to Strollin' for not taking both of the raffle prizes. Very nice gesture. :-)
I am not going to single out any artists becuase I thought they all provided a wonderful evening of entertainment.
I wonder what time Skatz and Steve arrived home. They didn't leave the club until about 12.
Thanks everybody.

Journey/J - you should try a nice depressant like beer. The diet coke is obviously too strong for you! Enjoyed your set though.

Guest, Journey/J and accompanist...you were great as usual..no need for much further improvement...just seek the material that is best for you both and keep ongoing with the flow.
Another great evening Les..Well done friend.
Best wishes, Mike.

What time do you guys need to be up?? Can't you take the pace any more - I'm still high on my cola!! - at this stage in life there's no time for coy, disguised disinterest in the reviews; the night itself was great BUT are we improving??!!
PS Les, it was really nice to see you and 'the Urn' doing a wee bit of male bonding!!XX

Mike
That is what Ian Enright & Dáithí Ó Geanainn have decided to call themselves - they did it on purpose so that I woudn't be able to pronounce it. :-)

Na Buachaillí Báire (Ian Enright & Dáithí Ó Geanainn) - smart arses

They deliberately thought of a name that I would have great difficulty announcing :-)

Now let me see, how do I pronounce it

Nar Bowceilidh Bare

or is it

Nabookillybear

or is it

Na Bowchayly Bayer

Blimey I think I will get Pavarotti next time :-)
