Was just kidding, James. My real name is Littel Ricard, and I'm sorry to have said I will bust your nuts. We'll tuck them into your pelvic cavity with a spin back kick just to keep them out of harm's way. Nighty night.

I have never understood why these scammers can't use English when that's their intent. Hell, e e cummings I can understand, but this manure, no.

Dear James,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bruce. I am going to find you and collect the fee in blood you syphilitic scab licker. In fact, maybe I'll just rupture your nuts and break your legs, then I will hurt you.

Just kidding. When I send the other info, may I also send you my bank account number?

Your friend,

Bruce

PS Are you a light sleeper?

We (Pyrates Royale) had this same scam tried on us a few years back. They wanted us to perform at their wedding in St.Louis, far out of town for us.
Info didn't add up. They were vague about why they wanted our kind of music at their function. We also were not getting usual info for a wedding party. We got twitchy. The bank warned us off cashing the check.(this was a relatively unknown version of the 'Advance Fee' Scam at the time). When we demanded more info, and verifiable details, the correspondant didn't respond for several days, then tried to keep us on the hook by explaining away delays in response. It seems one of the wedding party was killed in the London bus bombing, so our man was too upset to answer promptly.
In reply we cursed him for using that terrible crime to add versilitude to his scam. We can only hope our curse was effective; and his lying tongue is now sticking out of his rectum.
The thing is that these guys are SPECIFICALLY TARGETING musicians and bands to work this con. Be cautious if you are contacted for out-of-town gigues in this way.

Might be fun to play along. What is the color scheme for the wedding? The bride's preference for flowers? Ask for a down payment for the hall.

Let's see:

James, whose real name is Bruce, or maybe it's the other way around, has a wadding arranger for his marriage to Kelly. But he wants you do the arranging so that the wedding arranger can get paid for doing nothing. James or Bruce's company is paying for the wedding, so Bruce or James must be some sort of executive -- but uses a Yahoo email address. The groom is a US citizen but his fiancee is a UK citizen, so the wedding wil (I assume) be in the US.

Heck, I don't see any problem with it....

Wat perversity!! To make the joy of a wedding the pretext for rampant crime!! The lowlifes!! They should be burned!!! BEtter still they should be married to someone unpleasant.
