Hi everybody - I'm looking for some info on a song written by Shel Silverstein (maybe co-written with Bob Gibson), called "Life Ain't Like the Movies". It's a parody spoofing classical movies (in particular, iirc, 'Psycho' and 'Casablanca'). Can't find any information about the song on Google; had been trying but came up empty-handed. Can't find lyrics, recordings, nothing. Hit me up if you've got any deets or if you've heard of this song before. Really appreciate it!

No. Pretty sure it was written by Shel Silverstein and mentions Norman Bates and the pianist in Casablanca. I thought Bob Gibson made a recording of it but seems I was wrong.

Cannot find anything about the song except a Chicago Tribune article saying that Gibson and Camp did the song at their 1990 reunion concert.
