This needs to get into a PermaThread somehow.

1) The Google Cache can often bring back dead sites.

2) The Internet Wayback Machine has archived copies of web content going back to 1996. So, unless the original owner has asked that it be removed (sshh), specific web content, as of a specific date, can still be retrieved.

Go to the Wayback machine at:

and put $hel's original site URL:

(dead link - don't click)

into the search box.

I didn't get as far as putting that URL into the search box, because when I clicked on "Internet Wayback Machine", I got "The page cannot be found".
