Please could someone enlighten me?

My mother-in-law is visiting and we were chatting about the late Mr D. She recalls being surprised to hear that he wrote a certain song... Unfortunately, precisely which song is the one detail that eludes.

Help with few candidate possibilities to jog the memory?

He wrote "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" for Tom Jones in 1967.

Ah well, I used to collect anything and everything by Donegan ever since I first heard "Rock Island Line"...

To me, they were Lonnie Donegan songs even though he didn't write them!!!

"I'll Never Fall in Love Again" was co-written with his then guitarist, but as the tune already existed (as he freqently acknowledged) then in effect he had a hand in writing the lyrics- which is not quite the same as writing the song. He wrote one or two other album-filler songs but none achieved prominence. And of course who wrote "new words and music" to a large proportion of his output.
