Does anyone have a copy of this record? Not sure of the exact title, but it's something like Songs of Revolution and Revolt, or Songs of Revolt, or Songs of Revolution; the singer is Dominic Behan, and the Sean Treacy song that starts "Give me a Parabellum..." is one of the tracks.

It was a Topic Records production, by the way.

I'm looking at a LP at the moment by Dominic Behan, titled "Rebellion", NPL 18139, Pye Records Ltd., 1966.
Is this the one you're asking about?It has a reproduction of the Proclamation on the rear cover and a photo/painting of the inside of the GPO on the front.

A friend has kindly given me a cassette tape of this, adding some songs by Brendan Behan and Frank Harte; now I'm trying to find some technically superb person who can copy the cassette to CD.

hmillar, here are the lyrics to Kelvin Lass by Dominic. The tune is Cailin Deas, or rather a variation on it as adapted by Dominic.

Notes
From Brendan Behan's play "The Hostage" the song mocks the arrogance of the English Upper Classes. Evelyn Waugh was one of England's most famous novelists (e.g. Brideshead Revisted), and was famous for his arrogance. Draughts is the English word for what the Americans call "checkers". "The white man's burden" was an expression used to describe the "sacrifices" made by the English to tame the natives in the countries of the British Empire. Great Windsor Park is used by the rich as the home of the upper class game of polo.
