From: Tattie Bogle Date: 18 Jun 21 - 07:19 PM I see from another thread that has recently re-surfaced that I used the term “partial parody” to describe one of my own songs, which uses the tune and just some of the words of an existing song, but has some verses which don’t follow the original lyrics at all. But, yes, adaptation sounds fine. |
