Subject: Great site: Lyrics, harmonica tabs From: bseed(charleskratz) Date: 04 Dec 99 - 02:22 PM I just got the URL for a great site from HarpTalkl, a "Giant Harmonica Songbook" with lyrics and tabs for 10 hole harmonica for hundreds of songs: a huge list of love songs in particular, other lists of "folk songs" [their definition is even broader than mine--see list at the end of this message], hymns, show tunes, variety songs, and Stephen Foster songs. Now if I can scrape up the HTML for a link...or if someone who can do such things would take the time to turn the following into a link... http://www.volcano.net/~jackmearl/ --seed Here’s the "folk song" list (some are, some ain't): America America the Beautiful Are You Lonesome Tonight? Subject: RE: Great site: Lyrics, harmonica tabs From: Mike Billo Date: 04 Dec 99 - 04:48 PM Wow! That is a great site. My 15 year old son has been trying to expand his harmonica repetoire, but most of the tunes that I haven't already taught him are a bit beyond his level of skill at this moment. This site has tons of stuff no matter what level you're at, or how long you've been playing. A great find Charles. |
