Dick has been having computer problems - installed a DSL line, then the whole computer crashed, reinstalled windows 3 times, reinstalled DSL .... So I just called him - do not try to e-mail him, he may not get it.

The April 2000 edition with DOS, windows, and MAC on a CD is available from Dick, as is the DOS version of the December 2000 edition on a CD. You can get these by mailing $5 to:
Dick Greenhaus
28 Powell Street
Greenwich CT 06831

The version that Max posts takes a fair amount of extra work and they plan to get together to see how this can be automated or speeded up.

When you do e-mail Dick, use PM or dick@digitrad.org or dick@camsco.com since the other addresses have gone away.

Yes, there is an April 2000 edition of the database, but it didn't go into general distribution because of technical problems. The most recent edition in general distribution is Fall 1999. I'd say it's probably best to wait until Dick comes out with the end-of-the-year edition, which should have those problems resolved.

Ditto Jim's remarks. The Fall 99 version still seems to be advertised on the Forum Homepage. Are there any later versions, and are there any tunes added that aren't in MMario's list?

MMario: You said there was an April 2000 database available. Can it be downloaded? Where? (I only have the Fall 1999 version.)

The Winter 2000 release is teetering on the verge of dissemination. Sorry I'm late.

MMario, about the tunes - do you have any idea why more than half of the ones I sent in Aug aren't posted anywhere?

Dick and/or Susan:

I was going to e-mail - then I was going to PM - then I figured, heck, there are probably a lot of people interested in the sanswer so why not ask in the forum?

What is the status of the latest release of the DT? I know you have an April of 2000 release that can be ordered. Is the Northern Hemisphere Autumn-2000 close? done?

this is NOT a nag, push, whatever. But interest is picking up in "tune finding" again - so I'm thinking of revamping the list - but will hold off if I can get my hands on a new release first.
