Subject: RE: Nic Jones help Please From: Mick Pearce (MCP) Date: 18 May 06 - 06:23 PM According to Need Chords or tunings for Annachie Gordon Annachie Gordon was in CGCGCD. Don't You Be Foolish Pray was in Mike Raven's book (which I don't have), but I think was in standard tuning; perhaps someone with the book can confirm or correct that. Mick |

Subject: RE: Nic Jones help Please From: GUEST,Tippy Date: 18 May 06 - 06:41 PM Thanks both, I ordered Mike Ravens book about six weeks ago and it was due to arrive today. Just had anothe mail saying there's going to be another 4-6 weeks delay. I have heard this book isn't very informative though so I was thinking of cancelling. Tippy |
Subject: RE: Chords Req: songs by Nic Jones From: GUEST,GUEST, Ken Hobbs Date: 18 Nov 13 - 05:40 PM Late joining this thread... In Mike Raven's book, "Don't You Be Foolish, Pray" is tabbed in standard tuning (it's a basic 3-chord trick). However, I've done it in Cmodal (CGCGCD) and it sounds more trad Eng folky that way (I think...). |
