Jill Rogoff, a Kiwi-Israeli singer, harp player, and all around fascinating woman, needs a ride post-Getaway gathering from West River to New York City, preferably Monday morning. Any offers?

Also we would love to get a ride -- one way, or both ways, -- for our son Darriel who is a student in Towson, MD. He lives about 20 minutes west of the Route I-95-North exit from the Baltimore Beltway (I-695).

The biggest challenge is getting him home Sunday so he can make his Monday morning classes. It would be about a 3 hour round trip for me to take him home and get back to the Getaway so I probably would just go home early -- with Bill, Andrew and Carole still at the Getaway enjoying themselves. Sigh.....

I was trying to decide which Getaway thread to put this on and this looked as good as any...



My son's best friend (who had the nerve to move to Florida their last year of high school) Jed has engineered it so he can join us at the Getaway this year. His plane gets into BWI around 6:30 p.m. Friday. Will there be anyone who could give him a ride at that time? Or is there someone else who needs a ride from BWI at that time so we could make good use of shared resources?



I will gladly go to pick him up from BWI, but I wanted to find out if someone else would already be traveling that route at that time.

I am planning to drive Joe offer and LEEJ from BWI to the Getaway Friday and back Monday morning, if that suits. I arrive at 0530 Friday morning, and, I believe, LEEJ about 10:30 or so. PM me [Amos] if you need to hitch a ride from the BWI area Friday ayem.
