Subject: RE: Young Coppers From: MairSea Date: 27 Mar 08 - 05:24 AM Saw the Young Coppers at the Gosport and Fareham Easter Festival. They were tremendous and the audience did sing along. Only problem was - they weren't on stage long enough! Worthy upholders of the Tradition Love and Peace Ann XOXOXOXOXOXOXXX |
Subject: RE: Young Coppers From: melodeonboy Date: 27 Mar 08 - 05:51 AM I also saw them at the Gosport and Fareham Festival, MairSea. I second your comments. |
Subject: RE: Young Coppers From: GUEST Date: 27 Mar 08 - 09:19 AM I saw them at the Loughborough Festival and again most people joined in. I was a bit depressed by the thought that most of the audience - including me! - had been singing these songs longer than the Young Coppers had been alive ... Still, you can hardly blame them for that! I was first hooked on Bob and Ron, and in the early days of the next generation I wasn't that keen on some of the voices, to be honest. The Young Coppers are, in my view, appreciably better than those early days of their parents. |
