This may be one for the moderators but I'm sure everyone can contribute. I am curious about Mudcatters. How many have there been? How many are active? How many male? How many Female? How many Chimpanzees? How many are in the US? How many in the UK? Down Under? I 'm sure there are many statistics which could be generated...How about it? Add your questions.

Well, Slag, for a start I can tell you that there have been 25,397 registered Mudcatters. Now, I have to say that a number of those are people who forgot their password and didn't e-mail me so they opened up yet another new membership, but I'd say the legitimate number of registered members is well over 15,000.

And sadly some of us will not give out public information that can be used to steal our identities...

As there does not appear to be any way of cancelling your Mudcat membership, those membership figures will always be false.
I bet LJC and Rick Fielding are still listed as members!

Do not need ID type info. Just numeric. Thanks Joe. I see a little research would have been beneficial, but the whim hit me and...! I'l dive into the above and then see if I have any more questions.

How many of us are left-handed?

I'm left handed, I play musical instruments right handed, I usually use a mouse right handed keeping my left free for writing but am happy using a mouse with either hand. My mudcat ID is somewhere in the 4500-4999 range...

Yes, John, LJC and Rick Fielding are still listed as members, and their posts have not been deleted. We're quite proud to have had their company here.
However, if you send them personal messages, it's not likely that you will receive a reply.
