DigiTrad:
ARAGON MILL
BLEEDING HEARTS
CROSSING THE BORDER
GO TO WORK ON MONDAY

PASS THE MUSIC ON
TRUCK DRIVING WOMAN
WILD ROSE OF THE MOUNTAIN

No luck on lyrics on the web, but you can purchase Si Kahn's song book with this tune in it HERE , or the CD by Patrick Street, here, from Green Linnet, (scroll down) Also recorded by Si and John McCutcheon, available maybe here, from Rounder Records on the Flying Fish label. Good luck. It's possible that Amazon.com has these, and you could purchase through Mudcat. I didn't look to find out.

I have the lyrics and the Si Kahn book. I'll gladly send the lyrics but I'm not well schooled in HTML code. If you can walk me through it, you've got them.

DeeAnn, you just have to put <br> at the end of each line and in each space between lines. Give it a try. If any of it comes out wrong I'll fix it.

Subject: Lyr Add: GOODBYE MONDAY BLUES (Si Kahn)
From: DeeAnn

The chorus is inserted between each verse.

GOODBYE MONDAY BLUES

Chorus:
Goodbye Monday blues
Goodbye card room fever
Cotton dust has got my lungs
You know I'm bound to leave you

Verses:
When I was a little thing
Up in Pickins County
My daddy took me from the farm
To be a mill town baby

Not a man in all these mills
Could beat me once for doffing
Now it's all that I can do
To sit here without coughing

Old man staring at his glass
In some back street bar room
These was once the fastest hands
In spinning, spool or card room

A tiny correction to the lyrics posted by DeeAnn on 1 August 2000: it's Pickens County. There's one in Alabama, one in Georgia, and one in South Carolina, but I don't think there's a Pickins County anywhere.

Also, there's a recording by Si Kahn with The Looping Brothers, and a recording by Hans Theessink on his Titanic CD.
