I wish I could be there with my Celtic harp but I am teaching a class then. Next time, maybe, hopefully (sigh!!)

Lovely session. I particularly enjoyed the autoharps and the zither. I hadn't ever heard one before.

I sang "I'd Like To Have A Mistress" before my daughter went to bed in the next room. Then I had to quit making noise and turn down the speakers. I have to move either her or this computer so I can participate more fully.

Darn harp, I though for a minute you said "a smashing pumpkin shantey." That would be cool! I could start working on them "Despite all my rage, bully! I'm still just a rat in a cage, bully! Heave 'way bullet with butterfly wings!"

I sang:

Sad Song --Oasis
Angel Child --Oasis
Got You --The Flys
Summer of '46 --Robin Laing
Nothing Else Matters --Metallica
The Stuttering Lovers

--Matt

Naemanson...headphones!...you can turn DOWN the speakers and have a headphone/mic combo...you still have to watch your singing levels, but it sure helps!..(Radio Shack)

I exclusively use headphones on HearMe. But if you do, you must allow for the inevitability of "headphone hair."

I was able to get there earlier than usual, and because the performing cadre thinned out after a while I was able to get a few more in than usual. I sang (or played)not in order:

The Ratcatcher's Daughter
Cute Little Window
If You Want to Get to Heaven (talking blues)
The Swapping Song
The Lincolnshire Poacher
Jack o' Diamonds (in part)
Little Dorrie (a banjo piece by yours truly) and
Marineh Na Mareh (a Rumanian? song).

As always, had a ball!!!!
Dave Oesterreich

I did "Will You Come to the Bower," by Thomas Moore, with the zither. Only did one verse though because it's been humid here and all 51 strings were in slightly different tunings.... par for the course.

But I listened to lots of nice music especially the autoharps.
