My darling oversized littles brother had a sticker which read "Don't walk on the grass, smoke it" another not so tasteful and non PC one was "Don't drink and drive, smoke dope and fly" well my mother was less than impressed. When he nstarted to learn to drive he had a sticker which read " Don't diss the car.....your daughter may be in it".

Well I would say he lead a sheltered life but sadly not. The poor buggar is going into the RAF!!!!!

Again, here are some helmet stickers:

"W.W.B.D. (what would bubba do?)"

"Capable of evading highspeed pursuit" (seen on a Ducatti 900 Super Sport, not a helmet)

"DILLIGAF" (figure it out)

"Take me drunk, I'm Home"

Seen on an advertising bench, the kind you can sit on to wait for the bus:
A sight for more eyes

and, a very rude sticker on a car...you've been warned :-), if you still want to read it scroll down

Bill D, If you can make your PC-generated "pi" symbol show up on your Mudcat post, why can't joe clone make insert it here in my post for the T-shirt/bumper-sticker slogan where it's supposed to be? I'm befuddled.

Glad you liked it vl. I personally have never knowingly snapped a whip in my life.... or whipped a snap, come to that.

There was also the one that said.. DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY and which had the partnering sticker on the other side DON'T HAPPY, BE WORRY.

the trick is, you have to specify the font the symbol is contained in,,,,which on a PC is called "symbol"

the code for it look like this..(I hope)..I do NOT do this in my head, I have 2 little helper programs..

<FONT FACE="Symbol" SIZE="4"><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">p</FONT><BR><FONT COLOR="#FF0080"></FONT><FONT COLOR="#FF00FF"></FONT></FONT>

Van Lingle, you're just a whippersnapper, lad... This is one sticker I saw recently that provides a much needed ego boost to the elders among us..

Well kat, things will probably have to get a whole lot worse for a revolution to occur but with Shrub in the white house and his resurrection of deficit spending that's a distinct possibilty. Congratulations to your girl and deepest sympathy to you. I'm staring down the maw of the big Five-0 in a couple of months. vl

Faneffingtastic website, CH, thanks!! There's hope when one sees that kind of thing going on! I esp. liked clicking on his stickers and reading his comments about each one.

Van Lingle, that's what my daughter has felt would happen ever since she was a little girl and she believes it will be her generation which gets it going (she'll be *gulp* 25 in July!)

Thanks, Joe-- but it isn't very funny (to me) if the word "pi" is written out. [The T-shirt also had "pi carried out to umpteen hundred decimal places on the back.)

So I'll just say the sticker said:

Got Milk?
Need
[Greek symbol for Pi]

Let's try holding down the "option" key on the Mac and hitting "p" [which yields the Greek symbol on my screen] and see what happens when I post it:

Don't know if this one is in one of the earlier threads, but I recently saw two stickers on the back of a truck. On the left, it said, "Grateful." On the right, it said, "Dead."

Well, I HAD the Greek letter "pi" after "need" in my post [in MS Word], but it disappeared into cyberspace when I submitted the post. Can one of you clones insert the Greek letter? (If so, you can delete this post.)

Genie

nothing Greek showed up, just the letters "pi" within brackets...edited to just the letters...joeclone
