Went to Northern Illinois University in DeKalb for some graduate school, left and moved to NE Ohio, worked in Burton, Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University (MS in Library Science). More grad school at the U. of Akron (English, writing focus, they dropped the program and I dropped out). 16 years living in South Bend, Indiana and working in Elkhart, Indiana. Three years living and working in Kentucky across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, Ohio. Now I'm in Pocatello, Idaho. Visited: Ireland, Southern France, England, Scotland, Eastern and Western Canada, all of the US except for Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. |

Dusterjim, are you really from Falls City, Oregon? I spent a couple of years there, 110 Main Street. (Falls City is a literal end-of-the-road town with about 350 people if you count the suburbs.) I rented a much too big house from a friend; wonderful place. I could fish the Little Luckiamute from the patio outside my bedroom. Cap't Bob, my mother was born in Mio, back in 1904.
