Subject: Pete Seeger biog advice sought From: GUEST,Big Al Whittle Date: 09 Oct 20 - 08:15 AM Doing my usual mooch for bargains. I got a double album of Pete Seeger for less than four quid. Subject: RE: Pete Seeger biog advice sought From: gillymor Date: 09 Oct 20 - 09:41 AM I've read the Dunaway book a couple of times and while I didn't think it was particularly well-written I thought it was well-researched and so full of information about Seeger and his time that it's a worthwhile read, especially considering the subject. |

Use www.booko.com.au to find the cheapest - both new and second-hand - available. Dunaway also wrote "Singing out : an oral history of America's folk revivals" with Molly Beer, which is well worth reading. |
