Subject: RE: Tin whistle on pop CDs From: GUEST,milk monitor Date: 11 Feb 05 - 11:19 AM Yes, alot of tin whistling on Ronan...supplied by tin whistler extradionaire James Mc Nally (of Afrocelts and ex-Pogue). Excellent whistling, if you can stomach the vocals? But McNally has a solo album..'Every Breath', which is all whistle. Mostly low whistle. It is a collection of instrumentals of various classics. Then again, any Pogues album will have tons on it, and didnt that awful dirgey Titanic song start with a whistle? |
