You need to work on the rhymes a bit. Not bad, though.

Hey, man, I just wrote that in straight stream-of-consciousness, and my intention was to write something totally silly, with an awkward rhyme here and there if at all possible. I think I more or less succeeded.

Still, it's much harder to write something truly dreadful, like William McGonagall's poems.

But I do find it of interest that sevral other threads that I do not post to have had poetry, recently....

Perhaps there is a crying need in many souls here on Mudcat for verse to express our thoughts?
