Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Tannywheeler Date: 18 Sep 05 - 01:34 AM Peter, are you a Ray Stevens fan? (Too?) What've we got for the winner, Johnny? An all-expense-paid-trip to your friendly, neighborhood Funny Farm, along with William Shatner's latest recording of.....whatever. But, no. If we meet sometime you'll be glad I dress to go out in public. Skarpi, sounds like meeting you will be the prize. Tw |

Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Celtaddict Date: 26 Sep 05 - 06:47 PM I tried to download the registration and got only cybergibberish. Anyone else with trouble? And can I still register? |
Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Bill D Date: 26 Sep 05 - 07:11 PM 'cybergibberish' is not a very technical term...*grin*...it is just a .pdf file, which you would read and print with Adobe Acrobat....no one else has mentioned a problem. What actually DID happen when you tried? (And sure...you have some time yet) |
Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Amos Date: 26 Sep 05 - 11:06 PM Celtaddict: The gibberish was PostScript code which was visible because you were viewing the file with a text reader of some sort. If you save the file to your hard drive as "Reg.pdf" and then open it using Adobe Acrobat, it will look normal. You need to print it and fill it in and mail it physically. (If you have Acrobat Pro you CAN force it to be filled in electronically, but it is a pain in the zorch to do it.) A |

Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Jeri Date: 03 Oct 05 - 11:16 AM I was waiting for some money to squeak in. New old car, new computer, and a check that got re-routed to the Post Office in the Twilight Zone. Now, to figure out how I can afford heat this winter. Burning dollar bills in the fireplace might be cheaper than heating oil or electricity. If anyone had wondered about me, my reg is away. (How much you wanna bet stamps go up to $1.00 soon?) I need to plan how to avoid NYC. |
Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Janie Date: 03 Oct 05 - 11:25 AM I can't find the thread or post that recently had a tentative workshop list--I think Nancy King posted it. If it wasn't to this thread, it probably should be moved to here. Janie |
Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Jeri Date: 03 Oct 05 - 11:37 AM Janie, look up at the top for "2005 Getaway Program Information" - I just added it. I think the program is probably a big enough topic to deserve it's own thread and provide a place for discussion. This thread's more of a notice board, an edited one at that. |
Subject: RE: 2005 FSGW Getaway--Information (edited) From: Bill D Date: 03 Oct 05 - 11:58 AM just a note...for just in case. The address and phone for the camp is: Ramblewood 2564 Silver Road Darlington, MD 21034 1-800-466-CAMP 1-800-466-2267 it might be good those traveling from afar to copy this and keep it with you. If for any reason anyone gets lost, delayed, missed or bewildered, call the camp and we will see what we can do to rescue you! |
