AH, but with proper timing... the Getaway, perhaps something in Washington ( concert or whatever), Baltimore, Philadelphia...I have seen rt fares in the low hundreds. ANd the longer you stay the lower the pe-day cost... Though Bay crabs might be hard to get around the time of the getaway.

and as a gypsy, why would you want a round trip ticket, anyway?

and yes, I would treat to sushi- prices were for others in case they want to run down before/after the getaway.

Can't help with the airfare- my only free flight coupon is for lower48 only- otherwise I would have offered it to Alaska Mike for Tawmmie...

As tempting as you make it, BB, my gypsy days have been put on hiatus for now. I'm burrowed into a funky flat where I'm determined to read my way through the British Library.

(PS-I still remember being wined and dined in spectacular fashion by Deckman Bob in Everett,WA. HUGE salmon steaks every nite/or morning of my visit.)

salmon can be arranged... But the Atlantic salmon we get here are all farme, and dyed. I cannot really recomment them. But I could find you Pacific salmon...
