Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Rapparee Date: 07 Jan 22 - 08:45 PM Fun times in Idaho this morning, Mom. I went to put the trashcan and the recycle bin at the curb and while coming back slipped on the ice and fell heavily on the shoulder already slated for surgery. I went to an Urgent Care place where it was determined that I didn't fracture or dislocate my shoulder. However, I see my physician Tuesday at 10:20 a.m. This is getting old...and quite painful. |

Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Donuel Date: 08 Jan 22 - 10:06 AM There are hard things and easy things in life. Ice is one of the hard things but it depends water may be as soft as a cloud or powdered snow. The easy things can be hard for some or easy. Like morality, it is one of the simplest truths but it can be horribly complicated for some. One thing comes in many different forms like clothes Your lover your enemy your politics your religion Choose your wardrobe well for it too always changes Like taking out the garbage it can save your life or take it. |
Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Rapparee Date: 08 Jan 22 - 09:06 PM Well, Mom, I went to the ER today as I didn't sleep very much last night due to pain. Nice folks today and yesterday! |

Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Donuel Date: 16 Jan 22 - 11:13 AM After a lifetime of believing that pleasing others of higher authority was central to his success in life, the retired teacher who had behaved horribly to his students, and those he deemed inferior, became depressed and critical of others but could not submit to a therapist so he picked an interesting person on line to be a secret mentor of sorts but deny the mentor had any of the views that he sought to emmulate and simultaneously quenched his thirst to critisize. The mentor recognized the familiar pattern and wrote about 'his' alcoholic father with a penchant for remembering jokes. He described the father as a scrappy miner with a hard life. The retired teacher was so surprised of the similarities to his own life that when he went to critisize what he knew to be true about himself, his depression turned into an epiphaney of joy like Scrooge on Christmas morning. Sometimes the lies we tell ourselves, even if its a lie about the truth, is what ties us all together. |

Her expertise was in addiction and pschological warfare. Forgoing her normal duties she stumbled upon the greatest non pharmaceutical addiction known to the human race, at least it was perfectly suited to societies in lock down pandemic conditions. She combined Carl Jung's archetypes in an unintuitive way with a version of an already addictive word game Wordle that could simultaneously distract and create aggression between competitive archtypes. Inside of 60 days entire nations were in crises over a loss of workers and an immolation of opposing game groups in acts of virtual and real violence. Safeguards were not in place in Estonia when the program escaped the lab and spread to Russia infecting, of all people, Vladamir Putin who abandoned control of policies and began a Stalinesque purge of his former friends. There were some benefits to countries like Ukraine who found the Russain troops on their border melt away. The only cultures immune to the new psychological addictive game were nations that spoke Chinese based languages. While they were seeing the global addictive effects they did not know why but took unrelated precautions anyway. Precautions like... |
Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Donuel Date: 24 Jan 22 - 04:48 PM The pull of the past meets the push of the future at our present seaside cliffs. Death awaits a fall and the future demands a climb with no guarantees. Religions like Islam and fascist regiemes preach against a future with equality and calls for peace. There is a war for history and against science and there are revolutions for a future that has fewer inequalities Calls for civil war, rebellion against vaccines, and faith based education and elimination of facts are evidence for turning back the clock. There is an arrogance for the past and an arrogance for future advances while we in the present must chose sides in this perpetual conflict I prpose |
Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Donuel Date: 24 Jan 22 - 05:06 PM I propose a third way. The smorgasbord path of past and future allowing a peaceful choice between fate and past, as long as we relegate our past for learning purposes only. The Catholic church here has had a visitation of people from American Falls (about 40 or so miles west)objecting to the settlement of Afghan refugees here. You see, being Muslim they probably don't reflect "Idaho Values" AND there might be just a touch of racism here. BTW, every church in Pocatello, including the Mosque, Synagogue, and LDS Temple, is assisting in this effort. The Mayor and the Chief of Police support it. Subject: RE: MOAB - Mother of All BS [annex] From: Donuel Date: 29 Jan 22 - 02:13 PM These are not the founders of antisematism; Tomás de Torquemada, Grand Inquisitor of Spain (1483–1498),Diego de Deza, Grand Inquisitor of Spain (1498–1507),Adrian of Utrecht, Grand Inquisitor of Spain (1518–1522),Juan Pardo de Tavera, Grand Inquisitor of Spain (1539–1545). They were so worried that Jews were like the Moors who caused all sorts of conflicts. After the advent of Christianity, a new anti-Judaism evolved. Initially, Christianity was seen as simply another Jewish sect, since Jesus and the Disciples were Jewish and preached a form of Judaism. In the year 70 C.E., the Romans destroyed the Jewish State, and most Jews were scattered throughout the ancient world. During the first few hundred years after the crucifixion of Jesus by the Romans, adherents of both Judaism and Christianity co-existed—sometimes peacefully, sometimes with animosity—as they sought to practice their faiths in the same lands. With the conversion of the Roman emperors, Christianity became the sole established religion of the Roman Empire, and the early church fathers sought to establish Christianity as the successorto Judaism. The refusal of Jews to accept Jesus as the Messiah was viewed as a threat to theRoman rulers and to Christianity. Since both religions came from the Old Testament, Christians sought to establish the validity of their new religion by claiming that it superseded Judaism. "The big Lie" |
