Date: 22 May 01 - 07:37 PM Wolfgang, that pronunciation guide was prepared at my request many years ago by the man who is responsible for creating that site, Frank Petersohn. I think it was one of the nicest things that (up until the time I found the Mudcat) anyone online had ever done for me. |

Subject: German song 'Musich Den' From: CRANKY YANKEE Date: 21 May 01 - 08:19 PM I'm sure I didn't spell it right. It's the melody that Elvis Presley used for "Wooden Heart". I know the first verse and have been told by Germans that I sing it perfectly. I'd like to know some more verses to this song. If there are more verses and any one knows them, send the lyrics in the German Alphabet. I have some German friends who will help me with pronunciation. (not serious) Do you know why German Music goes "OOmpha" "OOmpha"? Answer: Because you can't sustain a note on a word ending in "HKHHK" Thank you in advance Jody Gibson |
