Depends where you're selling them. With the U.S. dollar so high, they all get sucked south from here in Canada.

A '75 D-35 is not extremely collectible, last time I saw one here the sticker was $1600 Canadian ($1100 US) I think. Course that ain't chicken feed either.

Kaere Helge!

Click here. Scroll down and you'll see that there are a few D-35s for sale from this reasonably priced dealer in the USA. The ones which have been somewhat abused sell for less than the ones without cracks and dents. The ones with Brazilian rosewood backs and sides cost a couple of thousand more than the ones made from Indian rosewood. A 1975 D-35 would be made from Indian rosewood.

If you are buying rather than selling, you can also take a look at the Mudcat Shop & Auction click here. I put a near mint Martin D-28 up for auction earlier today.

All the best,
Dan

Dan,
How much you hoping to get for the D28? and what year is it.. no I can't be bothered/have the time to check out the auction site..
I've got a 75' D28 which I could probably sell tomorrow for £1,600, bought it 18 months ago for £1,400.. Just before I bought this one, I heard of one going for £2,000
Providing your's is in good condition Helge I would recommend you keep hold of it (unless you need the money now).. One thing that is certain about Martins pre ???? is that they will continue to go up in value.. somewhere in the world that is..
Mick

Depending on the condition, playability and tone....anywhere from $1000.00 U.S....to $1,300.00 US.

Indian Rosewood D-35s are not considered collectible, but are generally very nice sounding and playing guitars.
