How about a a tour of the UK, Lynn?
Just been to a Julie Felix concert, and her version of the" Plane Wreck at Los Gatos" made me scrabble through my collection of LPs to rediscover you . . . What a joy!

It's great that Lynn is being remembered. She had a lovely singing voice and a gracious
quality.

There are few performers who have made a lasting impression like Lynn. Would sure like to hear her album one more time, especially Plane Wreck at Los Gatos Canyon.   Life long thanks and tons of love to Lynn.

Any further word from Ms. Gold since Travis' recent passing? We've lost so many in the recent past - we need to celebrate our remaining treasures. She is a treasure waiting to be rediscovered.

My one and only Lynn Gold album is a personal treasure! Though scratchy, I still love spinning it on my old turntable to listen to my faves, "Bonny Boy", "Anathea" and "Katie Cruel".

Hi Lynn, if you see this, great to hear that you are well and carrying on. If you recall way back in 1976, I was on my way to Israel and we met in Rome and toured Rome together for 1 day. Im still in Israel , married with two grown up kids. Best regards John

I have Lynn's album: it was such a favourite of mine in the mid-60's. I wasn't very happy at home or at school and I used to play this album and some by Joan Baez, every evening after our family meal and after finishing any homework I needed to do. I loved to sing (still do) and I'm a soprano, so singing along with Lynn Gold and Joan Baez was my escapism: I was "on stage" every evening- I'm sure it kept me sane. I taught myself folk guitar and sang quite often at folk clubs: my absolute favourite song to perform was an adapted version of Lynn Gold's "Bonny Boy" from her album.

So pleased to read that Lynn is still around, still singing. Lynn- thank you for your beautiful singing: you helped a very unhappy teenager to cope (and to turn into a happy adult!)

Lynn and I go back a ways. Al Grossman financed her album. I played on it.

Hi Lynn, it's been a while.

I knew Lynn Gold when she performed at the Ice House in Pasadena. She was a remarkable vocalist and a beautiful person. I last saw her in New York City around 1964. I've often wondered about her and am glad to see there some answers here.

I have that record as well - some copies made it over here to NZ.
I used to have the record with Travis singing "The things I've saved" but it's been missing for about 30 years now (maybe 35).
I'd like someone to sing that at my funeral (but not for awhile yet).
Robyn

I have that Lynn Gold LP in a little pile waiting to be digitized. I suppose it needs to be moved up a bit. I am anxious to hear it again. Bud and Travis are in the same pile. I did enjoy them as well.

Lynn was a good friend of mine in 1979-1982. She was living in Santa Monica at the time.

I was at a record store the other day (here in San Diego) and got to talking with the owner about some of those mysteriously vanished folksingers. He said that, as far as he knows, Lynn Gold is still around and is involved with a songwriters' group in LA. I have only one album--are there more? She was a lovely interpreter of traditional songs.

Who knows what happened to folksinger Lynn Gold. She made at least one album in the 1960's?
