I once wrote that if we lived 700 years, wars would be 800 years apart. If all veterans are dead and there are no living witnesses to the carnage, a society could be more easily conned into war.
This might be key to some right wing think tanks that happily advise Trump to advance infection among the oldest generation.
This hypothesis is as crazy as what is already going on but the more likely causitive factor in our deliberate runaway infection rates is simply the self interest of our sociopath President.

The President has earnestly tried to make Dr. Fauci (the most published epidemiologist in the world) a target of assasination and has suceeded with Dr. Fauci receiving numerous threats.
You won't see Trump stand close to Fauci ever again.

I've learned that if a disease isn't carried by an insect it spreads by inhaling and exhaling or because people foul the water with their shit and other people ingest it.

I just had a 'Go Fund Me' idea regarding an unofficial Trump memorial statue of a heavenly golden golf bag containing broken golf clubs with a bronze plaque saying:
"In loving memory to Donald J Trump from immigrant parents, gay lesbian, bi transgender, advocates of diversity, Covid victims and patriots of democracy - for his timely passing."
The golf bag and each club is labeled TRUMP.

I would like to see it on Obama Plaza at the Trump tower or as a replacement for the defiant young lady that will sadly soon be removed from the Wall street statue site of the Raging Bull.

Northern Tool took so long to send my electric string trimmer that I called a couple of times to ask where it was. I guess they must have ordered it again; I had a FedEx message that they wanted a street address for a delivery (after I'd already picked up the one that arrived at the store) so I gave the store the tracking number and told them they might want to check it out. Either this was the same one I'd picked up (after FedEx took it to the store) or it was a duplicate.

Today they sent an email acknowledging the return. I think they credited me back the purchase price. Duh. If they're going to be that slow and disorganized I guess they're going to give away the merchandise occasionally.

Mom, the months of preparation ended around 12:20 pm MDT.   I was complemented several times on the preperartion, presentation, and overall content on the Pandemics Past lecture this this morning. I was even complimented on my memory! The Zoom part worked pretty well too, once they got it ready to go.

Historic pandemics is an interesting subject to be sure. I am also intrigued by prehistoric pandemics. Cretaceous pandemics may have been huge, not to be confused eith mass extinction events.

For those who have been to the Tidal Basin in DC with the Jefferson Memorial and cherry trees may be interested to know of its slow demise due to to the mysterious rising waters. Sixteen more cherry trees have drowned this year. There are plans to solve this water problem and solutions actually include moving the MLK monument which Trumo shows the most enthusiasm.

This is not your typical tweedle dee or tweedledumb choice this election. It is more like his excellency Dungmold J Trounce vs. citizen Joey. Ignorant bullies will unite behind their like minded Fuerer. Yes this includes police who were drawn to the bully force in the first place. I have heard a Police Captain in an unguarded moment and he sounded like a mini Turdp and confused insult with power. We have seen a rethinking of our civil war and its monuments. Trump will not be forgotten but will become a martyr for terrorists as long as the 1865 civil war rememberance and will remind the haters how close they got to a 4th Reich. Its not over for a long time and the past has not passed.

Stream of consciousness; I do more than parrot facts. I can do parody, editorializing, opinion, historical resemblance (but not as good as Rap) , epic cartoons and fail at jokes where BWL excels. This confuses folks keb. It burns Joe O's toast but thats the way the kook e-crumbles. If it is a straight up humorous take I sometimes label it with :^/ In these grim times I often give a smirk version of facts but that is not in any way misinformaion. Other things are too subtle to label.
Unless new rules will require all posts must be footnoted, communication will be truncated. Then there are people like Maggie who naturally get it. Like discussing science it has to be predicated on a whole list of pre existing knowledge and shared truths.

I kept my allergies under tight control last spring, just as COVID was taking hold, but the ragweed is kicking my butt this fall, when it isn't a good time to have a headache, watery eyes, sneezes and the urge to cough. Pressurized napalm. Napalm is jellied gasoline and when used in a flamethrower does NOT flame on exposure to the air -- there is an igniter for the steam. Napalm can be made at home from gasoline (unleaded is more environmentally friendly) by combining it with a plasticizer such as styrofoam or polystyrene beads, Joy soap (in the past, they changed for formula).

I was thinking about how ice cores can determine the atmosphere in the past as well as tree rings and climate.
Back in the day there was honey or cane sugar in sweets.
These can be tested with a mass spectrometer at NIH and show how much fission by products and radioactive decay has taken place in the organic sugars and honey. It turns out that even years after the atmospheric test ban there were still traces of atomic misdeeds.
There were a few candies that were not dated. There were other pre atomic age candies and drinks that you would not believe what was revealed. Moxie was amazing.

A movie company has pretty much bought out the candy warehouse but you can still relive those tooth rotting moments when you were a kid if you buy hard candy. The chocolate has oxidized into a white stone substance. The Willy Wonka Candy Company was discontinued in September 2015 and their candy products were put under the Nestle name in Switzerland. The warehouse location is still undiscovered. Its harder to find than the warehouses for billionaires in China.
Those warehouses and trusts are called 'family offices'. 64 TRILLION DOLLARS WORTH !!!
Maybe they will be the next target for Ocean's 11.

Just in case anyone is overly concerned this week, remember that Trump talks an aggressive game but there are not people willing to obey illegal orders be it impounding ballots, sending troops to polling places or any other of his violent sedition orders. Anything can be a poem and doesn't need to rhyme,
but there should be some sort of rhythm implied.

Amos often stuck to a strict format but toward the end blew me away with organic brevity. To each their own.

It was a review of Proust's most boring excretions of his pen sketching his intermitably bad anti verse in the vacuum of the innocuous. His writing was like a weapon in the Great Deadly Boring War. It is rare to find a baseline of the "most" in life but WAV is truely the most boring.
