I had another owl experience, perhaps the strangest yet. I started reading Harry Potter #1 yesterday (my 9 year old is up to #5 after three weeks, thought I should at least read the first), owls figure rather prominently in the story. Last night I was listening to my new Ma Rainey CD and there are two songs with owl in the title. Then at about 1:00 in the morning I got up to take a leak and heard an owl hooting. I tell ya, there is something weird going on around here.

So...the little brother spent HIS speshul day yesterday celebratin' and today he is hung over like a flippin' tart! Ha! Ha! I bet he will stay in bed all day, eh? I would say that things are gettin' back to abnormle around here, like it used ta be. April Fools only comes oncest a year and Shane always gives it the best flippin' shot he can becoz it is his day. He went all over the flippin' town makin' false promises and stuff to people that he knows. I doubt that anyone beleeved any of it. But it's hard to say coz some people will beleeve anything if its' what they want to hear, eh? Well, if they did beleeve him they are gonna be real disapoynted.
