This guy, called if yo can flippin' beleve it 'the Mad Trapper ov Rat River 2"" is the guy who has hired me to work his gold mine. He said I can call him 'Rat sins I'll be workin' for him. So he took me out to this goold mine and its a flippin' HOLE IN THE GROUND! You clim down a flippin' ladder! But I went down an\ theirs gold! Like you can see it in the flippin' sand and the walls, but you have to use a candle but thats ok. I thikn I can sneek gold out this winter whne Rat is n't around.

HOOHA! No more Sudbury skanks when I get back! THe people in Blind River are goin' to be flippin' BOWING DOWN to me! Don's gonna have to beg just to talk to me!

Hmmm...Don, if the Yukon guy is your brother you still might have to marry and raise a family, cuz "Shane" could very well freeze his jewels off up there. I was up there one winter and noticed all the brass monkeys wore fur jockstraps. Would it be worth it to come home loaded down with gold but with your...manhood...shattered by the cold? I know that "Shane" doesn't have much of it but I'm sure he's attached to what little there is.

I got bad flippin' news. The 50,000 bottles of beer showed up back inside the beer store in Sudbury....and nobody knows how it was done! There was maybe a few beers short of what was took in the first place, but almost all of it showed up. There was also a flippin' penguin there! I mean a live one, eh? And there was a note sayin' that the penguin was in exchange fer the few beer that was not retruned. Nobody understands that at all, eh? It is flippin' weird.

There ain't no sine of the little brother. He could be flippin' GONE. This could be the end of my little brother Shane.

This is real flippin' bad. I might hafta have some kids now so the fambly does not die off. I was figgerin' to stay single and fancy free but now I am lookin' at the hole thing from a diffrernt angle, eh?

I thought maybe an unusual tartan might be nice for this thread, so I decided to go looking for one with my favourite colour in it * PURPLE * and came up with this - Orkney Tartan. I like the story that goes with it, too.

I'll also point out that the bolo ties (which were gifts from my wife) probably cost more than all the cloth ties together. One of them is a LARGE chunk of silver shaped as a grizzly, another (which I happen to know listed for US $300.00, but she doesn't know I know that) is black onyx set in silver. And I'm talking 99.99% pure silver here!

The important thing, though, is that if I need to I can cast silver bullets to shoot werewolves with. You never know, out here in Idaho....

Some of them are quite nice. I don't have any that I bought "because I need a tie" -- they all were obtained for a reason. And some I inherited from my late FIL.

Personally I prefer bolo ties. Easier to put on and off.

(I have something like 30 plaid ties, including Rose, St. Andrews, Campbell of Argyll weathered, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maple Leaf, RAF, McClain hunting, McDonald of Glencoe (which I keep at the other end of the rack from the Campbell of Argyle), England (my friend Marlene Elliott married Lloyd England -- true!), and a bunch of others.

I've got something like 90 ties, all told. When I retire, if I ever do, I'll let my wife make a quilt from them.
