Okay, Mudcatters. Here it is. Tweed has volunteered work and web space to promote the Mudcat CD. And a danged good job he has done! Check it out here!

Therefore, I suggest this; all that contributed music, time, work, ideas or whatever to the Mudcat CD effort, and to all who have any interest whatsoever in the CDs, and all the rest of the Mudcatters, pay Tweed a visit at Tweedsblues. Check it out! It is an odd place to visit, quite interesting and equally entertaining. And there is some fantastic "Badly Recorded Blues" there!

Come on, walk around the place. I'll bet you will find something you'll like!

And don't fergit to sign the guestbook!

khandu

Danged, there goes the neighborhood... Now rather than just a few folks conspirin' against me and duct tapin my sorry Wes Ginny butt to potty chairs, I'll have an army of 'em....

Thanks, Khan.....

Tweedster, that's a damn fine job and one helluva' nice thing to do.....So if Max don't say it, let me say that we really appreciate the promos.

And to you Blues lovers of all ilks, Tweed's is a wonderful place where the group has a great time and are really serious blues folks that'll knock your socks off with what they know, what they can do, and how friendly they are. A great site!

WARNING: The local Health Inspector has found an incurable strain of the dreaded *epizuddie virus* in Tweedsburg so fir any of you folks who were thinkin' of droppin by, well, ya' might want to re-think yer decision.

(Yo, Bobert. That ain't so. Ain't no virus's in Tweedsburg. Why you go and say that?)

Well, folks, Iz got a corn-fession to make. I lied about the virus, but them folks be playin' the *DEVIL'S MUSIC" over there, and that's the truth. You want that on your resume'?

Bobert

Great web-site! I specialize in badly recorded music. Happy birthday Khandu, nice Chet song. I've got a few good stories about Chet here's one for you:

Chet was playing a concert in Winston-Salem, NC in 1992. Muriel Anderson, Brad (Buster B.) Jones and I were opening the show. When I went by the hotel to pick up Muriel I had all my guitars and stuffcrammed in the back. My brother was with me too.

So we went in the lobby and Muriel was there talking with Chet. So he asked me if he could grab a ride with us so he would have to wait.

I said, "Sure." so we piled eveything in my little car but we couldn't get Chet's guitar to fit in the trunk. We took everthing out put evrything back in then tried one more time to get Chet's guitar in the trunk. It wouldn't fir, just one inch away.

Chet finally had enough and got his guitar and walked back in the lobby. He seem kinda sad to be left by himself.

The moral: Next time drive a bigger car, dummy!

Here's the true story again, with corrections:

THE DAY CHET'S GUITAR WAS TOO BIG

Chet Atkins was playing a concert in Winston-Salem, NC in 1992. Muriel Anderson, Brad (Buster B.) Jones and I were opening the show. When I went by the hotel to pick up Muriel I had all my guitars and stuff crammed in the back. My brother was with me too.

So we went in the lobby and Muriel was there talking with Chet. So he asked me if he could grab a ride with us so he wouldn't have to wait.

I said, "Sure." so we piled everything in my little car but we couldn't get Chet's guitar to fit in the trunk. We took all the guitar out and put everything back in then tried one more time to get Chet's guitar in the trunk. It wouldn't fit, the trunk was just one inch away from closing.

Chet finally had enough and got his guitar and walked back in the lobby. He seemed kinda sad to be left by himself.

The moral: Next time drive a bigger car, dummy!

Yer got it right, Khandu... Tweedsblues is a great sight..and site. It's well worth the visit. I also appreciate the joint because sometimes when I try to get into Mudcat and the door is locked, I go to Tweedsblues, click "Links" and come in through the back window. There are many other fine links there, and besides, Tweed is just a danged good feller. He really isn't Tweed, he's worn denim with the knees plumb gone..

Jerry

Tweed, have I mentioned that I am absolutely blown away by the difference you've made? Why this whole project is taking on a PROFESSIONAL air, now, what with Dick sending out for real plastic-wraps and all those permissions being acquired and a genuine Web page from yourself!!! I swan this is a downright UPtown deal we got here!!

Thanks a million, man!

I've had Tweed's site bookmarked for awhile, always meaning to get back to it and check it out. Thanks for getting me back there. Fun place.
Tweed I was listening to a few of your tunes like 'mudwimmen blues' and 'sternogal blues' Good tunes. Funny. Nice site.
Khandu, I'm listening to your song right now. Sounds real fine. Thanks.
Peace, Rustic
