Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Helen Date: 19 Mar 23 - 03:53 PM Sorry Backwoodsman, I should have said "Messiah" and not just Messiah. I did say the Anti-Christ in my post at 18 Mar 23 - 03:58 PM. Also, I think it was on ABC News but it might have been PBS News. The Christians might not have actually been touching him. Maybe they were just holding their hands a little bit away from him, sending him the Christian energy to help him in his "mission" - whatever they thought THAT might be. I also keep thinking about how surprised a lot of his followers were when, a) they found out COVID was real and dangerous, and b) they found out that the attack on the Capitol was in fact a life-threatening attack. |

Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Stilly River Sage Date: 19 Mar 23 - 11:52 AM Helen, I fear that the process of having eyes opened to the fraud that Trump has practiced will be painful to his followers. In the immediate future it doesn't feel like a passive process. His dense subalterns like Marjorie Taylor Green, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, and other self-serving individuals won't want to give up their platform for attention and riches. |

Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Helen Date: 18 Mar 23 - 03:58 PM Donuel and SRS, I do try to stay out of the politics of other countries, but Trump has unfortunately "trumped" my good intentions. I can't help thinking of the Anti-Christ, who generates a huge following but has nothing to offer but his own, huge self-serving intentions, cleverly shrouded in big words, duping the real people into following him into battle, believing it to be for the good of the nation and/or the world. I agree with you Donuel that there needs to be compassion for the duped and deluded, preceded by an opening of their minds to reality. |

Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Donuel Date: 17 Mar 23 - 08:20 PM Washington Week reported an additional 135 Billion dollars has been used to (bailout) prop up a number of banks that will not be disclosed for 2 years. This can lead to a snap slow down in the economy which is probably too much medicine to lower inflation. Between inflation, bailouts, and student loans this looks like a 3 body problem with no clear solution. |

Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Stilly River Sage Date: 15 Mar 23 - 07:42 PM Moody’s Downgrades Entire U.S. Banking System; Credit Suisse Plummets. Welcome to Banking Crisis 3.0 On July 29 of last year we wrote that Wall Street Megabanks’ Multi-Billion Dollar Blunders Suggest Money Controls as Good as George Bailey’s Uncle Billy and summed up our analysis with: “This is the stuff of banana republics – not a financial system befitting a superpower.” The rest is at the link. Trump always wants access to banks, and wants to have an unlevel playing field. He borrows from banks, he doesn't invest in them - that I know of - so his diddling the rules regarding banks would have been to benefit himself. One wonders if any banks (Deutsche Bank comes to mind) will throw him under the clown car. |
Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Stilly River Sage Date: 15 Mar 23 - 12:44 PM I don't usually turn on the MSNBC folks in the morning, but today we have two Trump-caused crises looming: anti-abortion advocates went judge-shopping and found one of his appointees in Amarillo, TX, to try to overturn FDA approval of Mifepristone, while mid-size huge banks totter because Trump cut out important features of the Dodd-Franks bill that would have prevented this. Biden needs to do something about expanding the Supreme Court. Or impeach a criminal-class judge who Trump appointed and Clarence Thomas should never have been approved. That one's on Biden, whichever way you look at it. |
Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Donuel Date: 15 Mar 23 - 08:44 AM Another Trump outcome has come to pass. His legislation to deregulate 250 billion dollar banks has led to the second largest bank failure like the bigger banks in 2008. Deregulation allows banks to invest depositor money in high-risk schemes that make for bonus money for executives., but anathema for others. |

It is all ultimately a CIA blowback from a project to elect a US-friendly Russain. What most people do not know is that 3 Americans were responsible for spearheading Boris Yeltsin's bid to rule. Putin naturally wanted to do the same to America and set people to manage the Trump campaign using the same people he used for a Russian puppet in Ukraine. Both our hands are dirty. It seems Putin has done very well in creating a 'Kremlin' Candidate for the USA. |

Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Donuel Date: 04 Mar 23 - 08:43 AM Dad was born in Boston to Jewish parents who spoke Yiddish and escaped the Nazis just before the Einsatzgruppen invaded Poland and Russia. Dorchester was a neighborhood in transition between the Irish and the Jews. Lottsa fights. He joined the Army and was given the option to work as a legal clerk for the court martial division in England or join the front line because of religion and the Nazis. He witnessed the Blitz. After the war the GI bill enabled a choice to study journalism or poli sci. An opening in Syracuse for poli sci opened up over Chicago journalism. He sought a law degree as well in Denver but a family and teaching was a bridge too far. He got tenure in New York when I was old enough to glean some of his knowledge and ethics. He kept his head down during the McCarthy era while colleagues wrote books about the Military Industrial Complex. In his day he was in Who's Who but retired with a following of lawyers who studied Constitutional law with him in their youth. His books involved the Supreme Court in human terms and not a scientific analysis. That was considered old school. His standards were strict, however. We ate bacon and he was as reformed as one can get so teaching me religion in Hebrew school was forbidden. As a result I rarely saw the survivors in his side of the family. My dyslexia was not understood so my difficulty in school was attributed to laziness. I have educated my self and now have an affinity to Russel Brand. |

Subject: RE: BS: Trump Actions/Effects (NO new Trmp threads) 2 From: Donuel Date: 03 Mar 23 - 08:23 AM NEW YORK (AP) — Former FBI Director James Comey is on a career path both new and familiar — crime fiction. Comey has a deal to write two novels for The Mysterious Press, an imprint of Penzler Publishers. The first is called “Central Park West,” and it features an assistant U.S. Attorney looking into ties between the Mafia and the murder of a local politician. The book is scheduled for next spring. I started the New Trump Constitution to replace the one Trump wants to terminate and will BE INTRODUCED TO THE WORLD at CPAC. "We the real people in order to provide the most huge and best in the history of the universe, union to provide control and establish the Presidency to do whatever it wants and to establish the real Constitution of the United States of America that replaces the prior woke fake laws by decree on Twitter." CPAC also wants some new Biden scandals but all I have so far is that Jeffery Epstein was the illegitimate love child of a young Joe Biden. |
