I heard Eric Bogle sing this song at the SKAGEN festival in Denmark last year.
Silly me forgot to buy the CD or song books.
I'm pretty certain the song was called``Only Susan learned to fly´´.Was about a girl sitting in a wheel chair.
Anyone know this one?
Any help appreciated.

Could it be 'Small Miracles', the title track of the like-named CD? I only have a small part of the words, but these are Eric's notes:

[1997:] Written for Rosie and Sandy - Rosie for her continuing indomitable battle to overcome obstacles that would crush a less courageous spirit, and Sandy for showing what can be achieved. Watching Sandy operate the joystick on her electric wheelchair with one hand, hold down a frantically squirming Rosie with the other, and suck a stubby of beer through a straw at the same time, was to behold an awesome feat of co-ordination. That might well be the one.
I only heard it the once at his concert and was far too absorb in the situasion to follow words.
I've been asked afterwards to try and trace it up.
